The Truth About Aging

Although aging is inevitable, we think that how we look and how we feel about ourselves could change our lifestyle in a lot of ways. After living so many years of your busy life, you face the mirror and suddenly see those fine lines and slightly crinkled forehead. Oh no! How did you not notice that you were growing older? Everyone will get there but did you know that you can actually slow it down, looking years younger than men and women of your age?

Here are some tips on how to stay young looking.
Prevent early signs of aging, or get rid of them by following these tips:

sleep on your back

Sleep on your back. Yes, those pillow and bed marks add facial lines! It might sound ridiculous that you have to sleep on your back all the time, especially if you love sleeping on your stomach. Studies show that sleeping on your belly has so many bad effects such as muscle pain, improper posture, stiff neck, indigestion. Think that not only will you be able to get rid of the fine lines on your face, you’ll also be able to correct your posture, and get rid of other bad effects.

Get enough sleep

Get enough sleep. Your brain gets to rest while you’re asleep which gives it a chance to perform other functions well such as producing Human Growth Hormone (HGH). HGH has the power to increase your exercise capacity (stamina + endurance), increase muscle mass and decrease body fat. It’s pretty simple actually – as you age, you get tired easily so you either do very little exercise or none at all, causing your muscles to deflate, and your fats to stay or accumulate, eventually causing the skin to sag. Get that? So get enough sleep.

a facial once a month

Have a facial treatment once a month. The science behind cell regeneration is this: Skin cells move up from the dermis (lower layer) to the epidermis (outermost layer) in a span of 28-30 days, which means we lose about  30,000 to 40,000 dead skin cells off the surface of our skin every minute, every day. And it takes approximately a month to naturally and totally peel the dead skin cells away. Also, the more you exfoliate and treat your skin for a scrub, the faster the regeneration of skin cells will be because your skin adjusts to it so do not overdo. One facial a month is perfect!

bathroom fridge

Cool your products in the fridge. Problematic about panda eyes and puffy face? Place your skin care and body products in the fridge. Not only will the products work to correct your skin and decrease puffiness, cooling them will also prolong shelf life, saving you lots of money.

Power Repair

Moisturize. Moisturizing your face with cream will really help hydrate your skin. Avoid products with alcohol. On colder days, use face oil or concentrates to effectively counteract skin dryness. If you see early signs of aging such as wrinkles and fine lines, use the Pevonia Power Repair. The ingredients effectively address and corrects mature skin. Check these out.

Go natural. Lastly, choose organic or all natural products like Pevonia. Don’t put your trust on astringents and chemical-based products. Although they may effectively cure a particular concern, chemicals usually have side effects.
